About Sammi

Sammi is a Chicagoland native who received her MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University. Her clinical work has been primarily with children, adolescents, and families, particularly with children facing depression, anxiety, sexual trauma, physical abuse, health concerns, emotional dysregulation, low self-esteem, and adjustment to life circumstances. She utilizes cognitive behavioral therapy interventions, play therapy, and attachment work, and approaches treatment from a bio-psycho-social-spiritual model. Her goal is to provide a supportive, empathetic environment for clients to experience growth, healing, and hope. Sammi also integrates Christian counseling upon request. 

In her free time, Sammi enjoys working out, running, hiking, swimming, singing, dancing, and hanging out with friends and family. She loves attending Chicago sporting events, specifically Cubs games at Wrigley Field. She also loves cooking and finding new Pinterest recipes to bake.
